Leviton 51020-RR wired-in railroad surge protective device (SPD) with raised wiring terminal posts. Allows you to build surge suppression into your next project. Single phase, 20A 120VAC. This appears to have been originally designed for railroad applications; I assume it can be adapted for other uses. Features include:
Provides surge protection to branch circuits
Staged multi-component surge suppression circuitry provides clamping envelope that follows AC sine-wave contour
For use by OEMs who wish to include surge protection as an equipment feature
Primary and secondary suppression circuits are automatic resettable fuse protected
NO/NC relay status contacts allow unit to be wired into remote monitoring if desired
If surge protection is lost power is still provided to load until SPD module is replaced
