Bryant/Hubbell MS1001NI ivory passive infrared occupancy sensor switch (Bryant is a division of Hubbell). A vacancy switch is designed to be turned ON manually and then turns OFF automatically a preset time after motion has ceased. Vacancy switches have greater savings over occupancy sensors because lights are only turned on when the user needs them. Requires a clear, unobstructed line of sight for detection because it senses occupancy as movement of heat emitted from the body against the background space.
