Appleton Powertite ARC20044E-RS metallic Reverse Service Pin and Sleeve connector. Reverse Service style: Useful where a �hot� plug feeds a dead receptacle. Reverse service is often used for generator applications where the receptacle houses a dead plug interior. Plug houses an energized receptacle interior, which has recessed male contacts to reduce danger of accidental touching. Made of epoxy powder-coated copper free aluminum for corrosion resistance. It supplies power to fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units/welders/pumps/compressors and cellular relay stations. Connector comes with weatherproof enclosure for the rough usage. It is also used for raintight/shipping docks/ports and other ship to shore applications. Polarized plug has a clamping ring that is tightened on to receptacle. Connector has a current rating of 200 Amps. It has locking screw and slot to prevent connector of cable collar from backing off. Service Inlet plug has pressure wire terminal connection.
